How Noktürn works

Submit in minutes. Verified before it goes live.

Every listing on Noktürn is submitted by the organiser or venue running the night — not scraped, not auto-generated. That is why counts on this page stay small and honest, and why addresses and times can be trusted down to the street.

  1. 1 · Describe the event

Title, category and sub-category, date, time and timezone — plus a description in your own words. One listing per event date, so nothing shows up twice.

  2. 2 · Pin the exact place

Region → country → city, then venue name and full street address. Precise addresses are what let the map, the neighbourhood view and Radar distance search work.

  3. 3 · Verify email and phone

Organisers confirm a working email address and a phone number with a 6-digit code before a listing goes live. Unverified submissions are not published.

  4. 4 · Review, then publish

Listings are checked against our Terms and UGC policy. Verified organisers get a shield badge; you choose how long the listing stays online, and can edit or remove it any time.

How verification works

  • Email confirmation — a one-time code proves the contact address really reaches the organiser.
  • Phone confirmation — a second code on a reachable number, so visitors and we can follow up on a listing.
  • Verified badge — shown only on events from organisers who completed both checks. No badge means treat details with care.
  • Report anything wrong — every listing has a report button. Reported items go to a moderation queue with an audit log and can be taken down.

Start where you are

Jump straight into a continent, or list your own night. Radar also scans the public web around any town or postal code, worldwide.

Built for the scene

Purpose-built taxonomy for cabarets, jam sessions, vinyl nights, festivals, masterclasses, workshops, open mics and live music venues — not generic ticketing.

GDPR-first & moderated

Every submission is reviewed. Contact details stay private until you initiate. Data retention controlled by you.

Continental fairness

Future paid tiers use purchasing-power parity so a Lagos jam pays less than a London festival.
